laptop problem

When I boot up my Compal TS301 it gives me an error report....
WJView Error
ERROR: Could not execute Main : The system cannot find the file specified.
When I click the OK button it seems fine until you click on Internet explorer. Then the comp. won't do anything.

Check it for viruses and spyware.
