I have a tomtom G700 and cannot get winxp service pack 2 to recognise it. Keeps saying unknown device. Any ideas please.

no driver downloads are listed at tomtom's site for windows xp they say its plug and play with anything above windows 98se.

check your usb ports are working and don't have a problem in device manager.
if your having problems with the software email tomtom and see if they have a update for you.

Thanks. I have managed to get it going. Appears a lead was loose into the usb hub on my monitor! Doesn't that make you feel a fool?
