ERROR MESSAGE IBM THINK PAD

IBM Thinkpad Laptop.

On start up, using it's battery or mains, the following error messages apear:-

ERROR
0187: EAIA data access error

ERROR
0191: System Security-Invalid remote change requested

Can anyone help or is it a visit to the computer doctor?
P.S Could you keep the reply/soloution very simple as I only got it for Xmas - computer dummy!!!

Doesn't look good I'm afraid :( Here's a page on IBM's site which lists those errors, both point towards a faulty system board 8O
