i want to put a diff op system on where do i start

have windows ME an want to install windows nemesis i have been told i need to get in the `bios` dont no how,i was given this computer and have to get rid of all the stuff on it

Your PC should boot from CD as it is, if it does then stick the Windows CD in and reboot it. If it doesn't boot from CD then you need to go into the BIOS and change the boot order. When the PC first comes on there should be a message on the screen which says something like Press F2 for Setup or Press Del for Setup, when that message comes up press the appropriate key. On one of the menus, usually Advanced settings, there will be an option for 1st, 2nd and 3rd boot device, the CD-ROM should be the 1st and the hard disk 2nd or 3rd.
