copying mp3 files to hard drive

back again, found another problem

hope you can help

i was given a cd with 200 mp3 songs on disc, and i have tried to copy them to my hard drive so i can make a playlist for media player also to create cd's for my stereo/car

i have just purchased nero6.0 to do this,but ther are 18 tracks that will not copy accross, i tried
ashampoo prog
copy & paste
nero6.0
drag & drop
xp record now
still no success. when using copy/paste i get a error message
cannot copy...: data error (cyclic redundacy check)

but the media player will play the tracks no problem
can anyone help?

Seems strange, if you can play the files you should be able to copy them

Is there another PC you can try the CD in?
