Modem FB DAA2 goes off in win xp

Hi all,
I'm installing Win XP on a pc with a generic GFXcel PC133 PENTIUM III board. This pc was running bad on Win ME, so I've changed to Win 98. This way was good 'til I've increased RAM and installed Win XP SP1. The modem went out and at this moment I wonder if could be better to go back to Win 98. On the modem card backside appear this:

MODEL: FB DAA2
COMPLIES WITH PART fun FCC RULES
REGISTRATION NO.ECSCHN-40304-M5-E
S/N OR DATA CODE:
ECS

Hi Taz, Thanks a lot for that link. I will try it. In addition I found another site where I've downloaded the file amrxp.zip, which, at least had worked as a fax. The next step is the internet conection.
