I restarted my pc one day and suddenly My pc thinks it doesnt have a cd drive attached. So i got an engineer in to see whats wrong.
I thought it might of just come loose with knocking it (by accident) or something. Turned out it was connected properly. so it wasnt that.
My driver manager says: (DVD/CDRW9200)
'Windows successfully loaded the device driver for this hardware but cannot find the hardware device. (Code 41)
Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device.'
Ive tried the Troubleshoot but no luck. it just doesnt know its there. but it bladdy well is.
Does anyone else have this problem? better still anyone know how to fix it? (apart from buying a new dvd/cdrw drive).
The driver for it is made by microsoft and its just a general driver for any cd-rom drive. Its been working for a year and no suddenly its not.
Please Help!
