Driver, WIN2000, for Philips CDRW PCRW4816K/20

Hi Guys&Dols,
re.Driver, WIN2000, for Philips CDRW PCRW4816K/20.
I have the above cdrw, just bought new, with no driver...I can find no way to get WIN2000 to recognise it as anything other than a CDrom reader.
Other CDRW software I have from Adaptec refuses to see it.
Has anyone got a driver for this that they can attach to an EMail or send on Cd to me Please! Please!....?
ps, Philips site only has firmware for cdrw's, no drivers for anything built this century..has anyone got any really good ideas, I have tried ever so hard to solve this myself but no, no, nooooooooo good!

Windows will see it as a CD-Rom but that doesn't really matter

Go to Roxio's, (Formerly Adaptec), site and download the latest update for your version of Ez CD Creator, it is this which needs to recognise the drive.

I have at last received this from Philips - thanks verily to them, but I cannot get the Roxio or Nero S/W to "see" this as a CDRW. I will reload and keep trying...
"Your Philips CD-recorder PCRW4816K is plug and play and should be recognized in Windows 2000 automatically. It will install the correct drivers and your CD-recorder should work correctly. There are no drivers for this internal CD-recorder.

In order to use this drive, you have to install a Windows 2000 compatible CD recording program. You can use Easy CD Creator 5 Platinum by Adaptec (www.roxio.com) or NERO 5.5 by Ahead (www.ahead.de)."
