cd-rw drive

i have a mitsumi cr-4802te rw-drive with no software. evry time i try to copy to a blank disk i get a error message saying that there is no re-writable drive. also in the computers systems folder it say's that the drive is a standard cd drive. i am desperate for help in this matter.

What are you using to write the CD's and are they CD-R's or CD-RW's?
