No sound on Windows Me

No sound on Windows Me

I have a PCChips motherboard installed about 1 year ago with Windows Me operating system. There is no sound (dont think there ever has been). When I recently installed Windows XP the sound was perfect, but I had to uninstal XP because of other problems. Audio driver is SiS7018. I have tried reinstalling it from the PCChips disk. If more information is needed about sound card, please tell me how to find it.
