You could always try to uninstall the printer and then reinstall it with the CD. A complete uninstallation should remove the drivers from your computer allowing the drivers from the CD to be installed with little difficulty.

Canon says that the BJC-6000 won't work with a G5, but I have been using the combination for nearly a year. How was that possible and I wonder what hapened to change that situation. The driver on the CD won't work with system X.

Thank you for your help!!! The unofficial driver works. Canon told me today that they do not have a driver that works with system X. Now, I do!!! Thanks again.
