Epson Stylus Color 300

Have just upgraded to Windows 2000 professional, Epson disk & Epson site only support 3.1, 95 & 98. Any ideas on a compatible driver?

Isn't there a built in driver in Windows 2000 for that printer

Try the built in driver for the Epson Sylus Colour IIs and see if that works.

Hi Taz thanks again for your reply, have tried Epson Stylus Color IIs, I now have print, but it is in black and white only, rgds Jackson.

Uhm there might be a setting that specifies whether you're using a black or colour cartridge

Thanks fo the info, sorry for delay in trying out your suggestion, have been away for the weekend. Have ckecked all settings still getting black & white only, however that is better than nothing, I might have to update my printer after all these years. Best regards, Jackson

i think those old epsons would work in colour if you choose.

stylus Colour ESC/P from the list built in windows, but make sure your port is set to spp in bios.

or you can try ths driver i found laying about at epson that should work with that printer.
