my computer does not recognize my printer. can anyone help me please. thank

fist off did you get a driver install disk with this printer ?

if not you can download the driver package direct from epson.

what you need to do is this.

now as the printer needs access to a port its important that your firewall is switched on.
but switch off your anti virus software.

plug the printer in to the pc but do not switch it on.
run the install disk or unpack the driver from epson and double click the install.

follow what the screen tells you till it ask's for you to switch on your printer.
at this stage your firewall might throw up a warning, its important that you allow access or your firewall will
block the install and your printer will not print.
after you allow access the install will finish and you should be able to print what you like.
