FUJI xD CARD

I seem to have a rogue 64mb Fuji xD card

It still allows pics to be taken (but will soon be full) but when I try to delete a file the following error message comes up:

Cannot delete (file No.): The disk is write protected.
Remove the write-protection or use another disk.

Can anyone tell me how to remove the write-protection or how it could have got there in the first place?

There are two zipped mpegs on there that were dragged and dropped inadvertantly and from then on the cards gone awol

Stick it into the card reader on the PC, open My Computer, right click on the appropriate drive and select Format from the menu

excuse my ineptness but from what menu is the format function located?

I can't see it!

If you use the right mouse button to click on the drive a menu should appear, the format option is on this menu. Make sure you've taken any data you want off the card first though

OK, done that(thanks), but it just says "this card is write protected"

How do I get rid of the protection!

Is there a little switch on the side of the card which enables write protection?

No, the card itself is only a bit bigger than my thumbnail

It would've been helpful to have found something for the future should a bigger, more valuable card go ape
