Thank you for replying to my question. I've been to the page you suggest and have tried all the 04b533-v audio drivers there, but none of them apear to have anything to do with getting my audio device to work. A couple have a program called SOUNDMAN but none seem to have a file which tells me it is downloading a sound driver similar to the audio file I clicked on in the motherboard disk.

The original asus motherboard disk had an executable file AUDIO and this fired up the audio card without any problems. None of the audio files I have downloaded from the site you suggest seem to make any difference.

I am at a loss, the graphics driver from the same site worked perfectly. Maybe I am doing something wrong or the sound card on the motherboard needs some other software to make it work properly.

I would appreciate any further help.
