USB troubles

Hi...I think I have killed off my USB's caused by an over enthusiastic amateur...so the problem is my camera will not show pics from my camera program any more. Dimage viewer and ACDsee.

Computer details are:
IBM NetVista PC 8319 41M and running win xp pro.
the motherboard is: N1996 microstar

any suggestions will be gratefully received

I believe your PC uses an Intel chipset so try running their inf update program which you can download .

It should be in C:\Windows\System32\Drivers ;)
