Sound problems

I have an Acer Windows XP but cannot get sound at all. I had a new Hard-drive fitted and since then no sound. A sound card was fitted but still not sound, any advice please?

It's a link so you can just click on it, it will then prompt you to either save the file or run it, choose to save it and put it somewhere you can find it later, My Documents for instance. Once saved go to where you saved it to and double click on the file, it should then install the relevant drivers
