Sound Problems

I have a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo D laptop using XP Home using a VIA AC97 audio controller after reformatting I have no sound can you help.I have tried all the windows help tipsw but no luck.Many thanks in advance from sandy.

can you post the full model number of that laptop i have about 15 to choose from at Fujitsu Siemens for the Amilo D series.

the full model number should be on the base sticker.
