everytime i turn on my comp, its just shows my background, like the icons are hidden or sumtin then when i press task bar, new task, type in microsoft everything shows up, like loading. what should i do? i have a HP modle #866OC and i'm running windows 2000. I also need a sounddriver for my HP comp. Please Help anyway u can. thanks in advance.

Could be something running at startup causing the problem, if you download and install this program it will allow you to control what runs :-

I've done a search but that model number doesn't come up with anything, are you sure it's correct?

sorry about that wasn't to sure but i have a HP pavilion and my Model number is #8660C. thanks for the program for my startup i will try it out. please get back to me if u can help with my sound. :wink:
