Help! My PC is playing up!!!

Running WIN XP

I have a MSI Mega PC (details can be found here http://www.msicomputer.com/product/deta ... l=MEGA_651 )

Anyway, all was fine when i first installed win xp and installed all the drivers for the onboard graphics/sound/lan/usb etc.

However i noticed it taking about a minute to boot up which is wrong considering i have 512 ddr ram and p4 2.4 processor.

I havent a floppy drive installed but have a multi card reader instead.
My PC at fisrt would display these as seperate drives so i had about 4 or 5 drives on the MY COMPUTER screen.
However since my PC has been takin ages booting up, i noticed these were no longer present on the MY COMPUTER sceen, however theres a Floppy Drive icon there even though there isnt one installed!

Checked the Device Manager and in the "Universal Serial Bus Controllers" section, one of the USB devices isnt working properly. It is the USB MASS STORAGE DEVICE. I then looked at its Properties and there is the following error in the DEVICE STATUS box

This device cannot start. (Code 10)

Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device.

Having tried to reinstall the drivers it still doesnt start or work correctly.

Does anyone have any ideas whats up.
