display adapter reinstallation

hi ive recently swithed from winxp back to winme due to speed probs and found my pc will only display in 16 colour mode as it cant find the drivers for the display adaptor. the adaptor according to the paperwork is a cl542x vga. the motherboard has no plug in video card and has in built 3d-agp vga. ive found drivers for win3.1 but these dont work. im not particularly good at installing from dos either, please help!

hi thanks i downloaded that file and unzipped it to windows system however, when installing the adaptor its not listed th install. is there another way of installing the drivers. please help 
my computer is reducing me to simpleton status maybe i should just buy a new graphics card lol

hi ive now had to reinstall winme cos the drivers for a: and d: became useless
