BIOS configuration, CPU error, boot disk error

I'm confused by this insert bootable catridge error message, I've been supporting PC's for 17 years and have never seen it before

You don't have a tape drive or some other kind of removable storage device attached to the PC do you?

I have a ZIP100 drive - ?

Let's see -- Floppy, Zip, HD, and CDRW attached right now. Also have a DVD ROM drive, but I unplugged it to stick in another harddrive for use in backing up data. So nothing would happen, I pulled off the HD with the backup files before reformatting the main one. Plan to reinstall it as a slave later. And in the meantime the DVDROM is just sitting out.

Don't think that's has anything to do with it, but....??

Does it matter how i have the IDE channels setup? I have a RAID motherboard, but not that familiar with changing around the devices.

With my backup files on the other drive, I can do anything. Should I flash the bios again (was done yesterday)? Remove CMOS battery again? For longer? Better way to completely reformat and start from scratch?

What motherboard is it and where are each of these devices attached?

My master HD wasn't on the Primary IDE channel. After placing it there and relocating the other drives, I no longer receved the "insert bootable cartridge" error. Interesting that the HD's location never caused a problem before, but now it's solved and I'm happy! Sincere thanks for your help!
