missing dvd player

I recently installed a new CD Writer, no problem. But i have just noticed that my DVD player (Relisys DVD*16) is no longer listed when i open windows. Every other program on my system knows its there, and Nero can even use it. Ive checked the BIOS, its there to. Only XP :evil:

seems to have a problem with it. Any ideas PLEASE!!!

Hmm, I can't see how Nero can use a drive if Windows doesn't know it exists

It can only use it for a straight copy, disk to disk

Just found that i can access dvd's via Creative Disk Detector in tray. Stranger & Stranger!?
