!need INFO ImageReader Director Model: FB745 for window xp

I have an INFO ImageReader Director Model: FB745. I am running widow xp on my computer and my printer is hooked up through usb. I have spent many a days looking for a driver for this scanner. I do not want this scanner to go to the dumpster. I have tried downloading every driver under the sun in an attempt to make the scanner work with window xp. It is fine with window 98. With window xp, I get a very schizo scanner that work sometimes and sometime displays different messages saying it doesn't work (i.e. check power). When it does scan, it scans the pages and prints/displays the pages too narrow. It is not a true scan. Please help. Thanks in advance!
