Hi to all, and might i say what a relive to find a site like this one.

I have just bought a pc with a justlink rw dvd+rewritable (DVD+RW5240 listed in device manager) and am having trouble recording onto DVD-R blank media using dvd shrink.

Theses where the specs advertisted whan i bought the system (4X DVD Re Writer 4x(+R) 4x(+RW) 24x(CD-R) 24x(CD-RW) 40x (CD-Rom) 8x(DVD-Rom).

Can anyone tell me if they are the same and any avide is welcomed

The drive is made by Ricoh and according to the specs on their website it doesn't support DVD- media, only DVD+.
