Driver for a JVC GR-D70 video camera

I have installed the software that came with the camera, I can download to my PC stills from the memory card but when I try to change over to D/L video footage the program keeps saying that the camcorder can't be found and the device manager/wizard says that the drivers aren't installed.I have tryed to contact JVC via email but to no avail.Can anyone offer any suggestions.
