BROTHER MFC 410

Hi can anyone help me? i have a brother MFC 410 machine and i have used a refill kit to fill the inks up, but the machine keeps telling me thats its empty and the "pop up" box is so annoying ? help please

Some printers require you to press a key sequence on the front panel to clear things, it should explain in your manual if that's the case

if you have refilled the cartages and they have a little chip built in them then you will need to pick up a cheap chip re-setter.

epson use these as do hp now its the chip in the cartage that tells the printer its empty.
