drivers for intel 810 board ?????

i can't find any drivers for my sound card. it is card integrated with intel 810 board. my os - win98 (first ed.). what do i have to do now :?:

where can i find it :?:

Hi there is little information to tell me which motherboard manufacturer or Pc Manufactuer you have

but i'm guessing its an asus motherboard.

Give the CS4299 driver a go. Let me know if this sorts it out and if possible take the cover off and look at the motherboard to try to get me the manufacturer.

Actually it's more likely to be the ADI SoundMax drivers you need, I've seen these used on quite a few i810 boards

frankly said i have no idea what is my motherboard's manufacturer. i guess it's intel, but it might be anyone else. how can i check it? all i know about this computer it is my processor - intel celeron 586 MHz and chipset - intel 810 chipset. byt i really don't know what does it mean.

it can be genuineintel. that's what i found in "my computer", "properties". there's also written "pentium(r) II processor", "intel mmx technology".
but...
there's also written "ibm personal computer 300" on itself (i don't know english such well, that i could explain all).
inside, on board, there's many chips. on some of theme, there's written intel, or some other names like "csdx", "award", "ics", "ite", "ams".
hmmm... it looks really interesting, but i have no idea what is this all for...

Ok, we're getting somewhere now

It's an IBM PC300 but unfortunately there are different types, is there another number somewhere on it like Type 6344, 6345, or 2169?

Once you know which one it is you can download the relevant driver from this page on IBM's site :-

frankly said when i used this link and downloaded these drivers it didn't work, but i started to think and try, and it turned out that one of the devices which are listed on this site is my device. so i visited the site of its manufacturer (c-media electronics) and there are all drivers for me. so thank you once again, TazUk!!!!!!
